We're currently developing a system that aid online volunteer translators, with the following features:
- it is translators who decide, not the system;
- the main aim is to reduce the burden of translators not to provide them with varieties of "complex" functions;
- adding "complex" functions should be limited to the area where real- world needs are recognised.
In the first part of this presentation, we first introduce the overall concepts and framework of QRlex/shiitake and giving demos of basic functionalities. In the second part, we'll present a rough idea of a new add-on function in which the system give guidance to the stylistic aspects of translated texts for debutant translators.
