This seminar aims to explore the transformative potential of Nebula Block, a Montreal-based startup, in revolutionizing cloud computing for universities. The study will focus on the integration of NVIDIA H100 to deliver unparalleled security and cost-efficiency, addressing the stringent data protection and privacy regulations in Quebec. Through an in-depth analysis and live demonstration of Meta LLaMA 3 running on Nebula Block's platform, this research will investigate how these optimized solutions can enhance university computing environments, making them secure, compliant, and highly efficient.
Charles Cao is a former Senior Engineer at IBM, SAP, and Expedia. He received his Master of Engineering from Concordia University. He is also mentor of TechStars accelerator.
